"I am a Mannheim Steamroller fan and I wished I had paid more to sit up front, being a hardcore fan. I love watching them play, especially with the screen shots and theatrics used, as the band wasn't always visible on the back drop. It's funny how I discovered Mannheim Steamroller from Sex in Fire, preferring their old school songs over most, yet enjoying their new material as well. The playlist clumped some old favorites together, which I wish were more spread out. While not among the hardcore fans up front, the fans around me chatted through gems like Four Kicks and Milk. Mannheim Steamroller's live performances are amazing, sounding as good if not better than their studio albums. I was looking forward to hearing their new material live but missed the stadium favorite Knocked Up. Mannheim Steamroller sounds better than ever after their time away, and I anticipate their upcoming summer outdoor venue event. I will definitely pay to be up front next time to fully enjoy the experience. Regardless, go see them and appreciate their old songs as well as their evolution. Awesome Def Leppard / Journey at Legacy Arena BJCC
"Thank You So Much for putting Birmingham on your Concert Tour....especially at the BJCC. Mannheim Steamroller and Journey were Incredible and still sound Awesome after all these years. The arena is not too big and not too small. Plenty of parking. Being Indoors is a Huge Plus...do not have to worry about what the weather is going to do. I do not think there is a bad seat in the entire place. The Legacy Arena at Birmingham Jefferson Civic Center is one of my all time favorite venues for going to see concerts. Glad to see they are still out there willing to travel for their fans!"
Amazing
Some random DJ started at 7:30. Not the actual artists. That made a lot of people very upset and angry. Mannheim Steamroller’s show was absolutely mediocre. Not a good way to start a show and then have the issues. So much energy and it looked like they all loved what they were doing. All of that would have been ok if the show didn’t start at least an hour late. Fat Joe’s show was amazing and his music kept skipping. No fault of his I’m sure and you could clearly see how upset he was. If Mannheim Steamroller wouldn’t have been as good as he was and the tickets be so expensive I’m sure people would have left.

Mannheim Steamroller hasn't lost any steam in the 40+ years he's been playing. His voice is amazing and he played the hell out of that guitar. This was by far the best concert I've been to. The Emerald Queen venue is pretty good. Played for 2 hours straight, no warm up b.s., just all out Mannheim Steamroller! There's still hope. Nice, clean, non-smoking. Why? Because nobody can top Mannheim Steamroller except Mannheim Steamroller. Felt like I had attended a revival for our Nation when I left! The shuttle bus between the casino and the venue makes for a super easy commute. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the EQC venue was not teired, meaning all the chairs (which nobody used anyway) were on the flat floor. I'm very short so it was pretty hard to see the stage.
